The OpenAPI spec is public, all 13 meta fields are writable, batch endpoints take up to 50 items per request, and the rate limits are published: 120 reads/min, 30 writes/min, 5 batch calls/min. Writes are bounded to four change types: meta fields, redirects, 404 resolves, and alt text. Every write starts as a dry-run diff, you approve it before anything is written, and eligible change types can be rolled back from the audit log for 30 days. There is no autopilot mode.
For agent access, yes: the agent runs on your own Claude or Cursor account, on your keys. The built-in AI features (meta, schema, alt text, internal links) run on the 100 credits/month included in the license, no key required.
You drop back to the free plugin. Your data stays in your own WordPress database, and because the API is open, nothing is locked in: you can export or migrate whenever you want.
